DogPunk is a scifi first person shooter based on Unreal Engine 4 that aim to combine fluid movement, immersive environment, and fast-paced combat, along with an abundance of dogs.
A project started by a friend and myself, we wanted to create a new FPS where the player can enjoy fast-paced satisfying combat and long-term gameplay-defining progression at the same time.
We designed and iterated on the combat, involving various skills and enemies with other moving parts.
I worked on the level design, which we iterated on heavily overtime, going from a closed, linear map to a series of enclosed small spaces allowing for fast-paced combat.
I worked on the visual style and overarching narrative of the game, which gave us a clearer goal in terms of both gameplay and progression.
